THE OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE
Review by Sam
The production plays on your own imagination, taking the seemingly normal world and twisting it into a universe of wonder and fiction. Based in rural England, our protagonist is thrown into a world of fear and beauty. Facing a shapeshifting “flee” who tries to take advantage of planet earth and the terrifying flying monsters who eat everything in their paths are just some of the adventures in the play.

The play does not seem long at all, meaning there are no scenes that seem unnecessary. The performance ended with a standing ovation from the audience and a huge round of applause. I highly recommend The Ocean at the End of the Lane, even if theatre is not of great interest to you. For regular theatre goers, it is a must see.
